"Excellent taste. I am very particular about coffee! This is a full flavor roast and I intend on ordering it in the future."
At our Massachusetts HQ, our team batch-roasts coffee daily under a 1,418 panel solar array, bringing out the best flavors of each harvest. At the lighter end of the roast spectrum, we accentuate the unique fruity and floral notes within the beans. As the roast length increases, the natural sugars in the coffee beans caramelize and darken to elicit a richer body. Our darkest roasts fully express the beans’ natural oils, yielding subtle smokiness and flavors akin to dark chocolate. At every level, our expert team creates a smooth, clean, and balanced cup with reliable consistency from batch to batch.

"I love French Roast Coffee and this one from Equal Exchange is no exception. I also love the price and knowing that everyone involved in making it is treated and compensated fairly."
"I drink 3 cups of this coffee every day. The packaging keeps the coffee fresh, so a pack of 18 oz. bags is more economical for me than a pack of 9 or 10 oz. bags."
"We have been buying from equal Exchange since I couldn’t tell you. We have French roast brewed coffee every morning. If we’re going away we bring some !!"
"Great coffee with an even greater cause. We are happy to support Fair Trade"
"I love it"
"I'm very happy with my purchase from Equal Exchange. Not only do they offer my favorite coffee flavor (Midnight Sun), but they have very competitive prices which means a lot in these difficult times. I love the support they offer to those who grow the beans. Thanks Equal Exchange! I hope you thrive."
"Great bag!"
"This is a Christmas gift for my daughter. It is the only coffee she drinks."
"Needing a change, I switched from Fellowship Blend to French Roast and I love it! Not giving up Fellowship but enjoying an alternative for a change of pace. Strong, aromatic and smooth are words I’d use to describe the French Roast which doesn’t convey a “burnt” taste, as many dark roasts do."
