Organic Hibiscus Tea

We are proud to support the work of SEKEM, a leader in sustainable agriculture and community development for more than 40 years. SEKEM, located northeast of Cairo, works with farmers throughout Egypt and has achieved incredible economic and community prosperity. They are at the forefront of organic and sustainable agriculture and technology which has helped their crops to flourish despite the inhospitable desert environment that surrounds them. Most teas–even those that are certified as fair trade–come from large plantations where workers have little say and are trapped in a system of dependency. Together, we’re building an alternative tea model and a farmer-led future for the tea industry.
