Fellowship Blend Coffee in Your French Press

Fellowship Blend coffee is ground coarsely especially for 100-cup percolators. But this same coarse grind is perfect for making individual pots of coffee in your French press at home. It's easy and efficient and brews a great cup!

Directions

  1. Boil water in a kettle.
  2. Place 6 Tbsp of Fellowship Blend coffee into your 1 liter/34 oz French press.
  3. Pour about 1/2 cup of water on top of the coffee in the French press and let it sit for about 30 seconds. This lets carbon dioxide in the coffee grounds disperse. You will notice that the mixture puffs up.
  4. Pour the rest of the water into the French Press, placing the plunger lightly on the top.
  5. After 3 minutes, slowly press the plunger down. You're ready for your delicious cup of joe!

Fellowship Blend Cold Brew In Your French Press

Fellowship Blend Coffee's coarse grinds are also great for making cold brew concentrate for yourself in your French press.

Directions

  1. Add 7 Tbsp of coarsely ground coffee to your French press or to a large jar.
  2. Gently pour 16 oz of cold or room temperature water over the grounds. Stir to get all grounds wet.
  3. Let it sit for 14-16 hours at room temperature.
  4. Press down the French press plunger or strain with a filter into a container with a lid. Store in your refrigerator.
  5. You have made a cold brew concentrate! When ready to enjoy, add 1 part concentrate to 1 part water, along with ice.

Our Decaf Coffee Process

Have you ever wondered why our decaf coffee is so flavorful? Unlike some coffee companies, we start with the same high-quality Arabica beans that we use in all our coffees. We remove caffeine from the fresh beans using a technique called CR3 Natural Liquid Carbon Dioxide Decaffeination. The natural liquid carbon dioxide used is the same CO2 that gives sparkling water its carbonation. This process removes 99.9% of the caffeine, yet leaves the bean and its natural oils intact.
