At the lighter end of the roast spectrum, we accentuate the unique fruity and floral notes within the beans. As the roast length increases, the natural sugars in the coffee beans caramelize and darken to elicit a richer body. Our darkest roasts fully express the beans’ natural oils, yielding subtle smokiness and flavors akin to dark chocolate. At every level, our expert team creates a smooth, clean, and balanced cup with reliable consistency from batch to batch.

"Strong, but not bitter. We have tried so many coffees trying to find a fair trade coffee and finally gave up on ground and were using beans. On a fluke, I saw that Equal Exchange had a strong ground (Midnight Sun) so I gave it a try. It is now our daily coffee. Love that our coffee is great and we are supporting fair trade."
